In order to preserve the low epidemiological incidence of the archipelago and to ensure the sustainability of tourism activity, it is imperative that all visitors over 6 years of age, who do not come from the Canary Islands, prove by means of a certificate the realisation of a diagnostic test for active infection with COVID-19 with a result of negative carried out within the last 72 hours and approved by the health authorities.
This certificate will be required to check in this and any other tourist accommodation in the islands. You may show a digital or hard copy of it and it must contain the date and time the test was taken, the identity of the individual taking it, the laboratory responsible for verification and the nature of the laboratory, and the negative result.
Such a certificate shall not be required from non-residents who can prove - by means of their travel document - have stayed on the territory of the autonomous community of Canary Islands the 15 days prior to the date of access to this tourist accommodation and that in addition, they have had no COVID-19 compatible symptoms during this period.
The canary residents must prove their status as such and declare under their responsibility that they have not left the Canary Islands in the 15 days prior to their arrival at the establishment and that they have not presented symptoms compatible with COVID-19 during this period.
As an exception, if you state that you are willing to take a diagnostic test, we will provide you with details of the nearest authorised centre and we will allow you to enter and stay for the minimum time required to get your results. You will not be able to leave your accommodation unit until the results are received.
